Khalid is an authoritative writer and editor. His works have contributed to shaping practice and policy in many areas in public health including women’s and children’s health.
Khalid’s writing has had wide influence in publication practice. His editorial initiative, Core Outcomes in Women’s and Newborn Health (CROWN), which won the BMA Strutt and Harper award, was republished in over 50 journals. He has established the Cairo Consensus for fostering Integrity and Randomised Trials.
